Deposits & Bookings

Wedding Cakes

In respect of wedding cakes and cupcakes we require a £100 booking fee. Once received, this will confirm and secure your date in the diary. The remaining balance is to be paid 4 weeks before the date of your wedding.

 

Celebration Cakes

With all celebration cakes and cupcakes we require a 50% booking fee of the total value of your order. The remaining balance is to be paid 2 weeks before collection. all deposits are non refundable and can either be paid by cash or bank transfer.

 

We do recommend that when booking your wedding cake you have a minimum of between 6 and 12 months in advance of your wedding date, with celebration cakes please contact us to check availability.

 

Delivery

Wedding Cakes

Due to the delicate nature of wedding cakes, cupcakes and sugarcraft flowers and items we prefer to deliver and assemble these personally to your venue. If required we can liase directly with the wedding venue, so its one less thing to worry about. The cost of delivery and setup will be included within the price of the cake order.

 

Celebration Cakes

Celebration cakes are available for collection, or delivery can be arranged for an additional charge. Sweet C's Cakes cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs once any order has left our possession.

 

Storage

All Cakes and cupcakes should be placed on a flat surface and stored at room temperature in the boxes provided. To be kept out of direct sunlight. Freezing or refridgerating our cakes/cupcakes is not recommended. Please note cupcakes should be eaten within 2 days and cakes within 3 days.

Allergens

All of Sweet C’s Cakes and Cupcakes contain Gluten (Wheat), Eggs and Dairy.

 

All of our Cakes and Cupcakes are made in an environment where Gluten, Nuts, Dairy, Milk and Eggs are present.

​

All ingredients used in our baking are checked thoroughly, and whilst they do not contain Nuts, they are made in factory where Nuts could have been present.

​

Sweets C's Cakes shall not be held responsible for Nut Allergies for the Venue, Customer or their Parties.

​

All Cakes are baked fresh in my home kitchen, whilst my cake equipment is kept away from Nuts and Nut Products, and I have a cross contamination procedure in place they are made in a kitchen that handles all the main allergens, which include:

Nuts

Peanuts

Dairy

Eggs

Gluten (wheat)

Sesame

Soya

Sweet C’s Cakes will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to our products.

​

We cannot guarantee that a product will be 100% free from the ingredients that may affect those with food allergies, and therefore, you must let us know at the time of ordering if you are intolerant to any of these ingredients.

 

Due to the above Sweet C’s Cakes is NOT a Nut, Gluten, Dairy, Milk and Egg free Kitchen.
